I'm about to talk about reading books, which has become one of my favorite hobbies over the past few years. I first developed this habit during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I had much more free time at home. Since then, I have tried to read for about 30 minutes every evening. At first, I mainly read novels because they were easy to enjoy. However, after I started preparing for IELTS, I made a switch to self-development books and English non-fiction. I also often write down useful vocabulary and ideas while reading. Thanks to this habit, I have improved my vocabulary and my writing skills. More importantly, I have become much more patient and focused than before. I believe reading not only helps me gain knowledge but also allows me to relax after a busy day. That's why I hope I will continue reading through all my life.
