I'm Chinese and my mother tongue is Cantonese. And for me, I didn't learn a lot of new languages like Korean or Japanese. For me, English is the most current language I've learned, although it was a long, long time ago. And when I was young in the education system of Hong Kong, all of us needed to learn English. The first time I learned English was when I was in kindergarten. So the first thing I learned about English, of course, is the alphabet. And I think it was quite easy at the start because it was just a little combination of a few alphabets. As time went on, when I got into primary school or even secondary school or even university, I saw that some English words are quite difficult. They're long and quite hard to pronounce and hard to guess what they mean based on the alphabet. And I think one of the reasons that I have this difficulty is I don't have those chances to chat with a lot of foreigners who are used to using English, so this is one of the obstacles I'm facing. But still, English is a good language to learn, I think. And overall, I think English is really important in my life and I don't regret that I learned English.
