Band 7+: Describe a life changing experience you have had. You should say: where it took place & who was with you what happened how it made you feel and explain how it changed your life.

To be honest, I have experienced such situations several times throughout my life. However, one of the most meaningful experiences was approximately six months ago. At that time, I participated in a volunteering program that was organized in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. During this period, we were required to complete specific tasks on a daily basis. For instance, we participated in countless meetings and discussions with local communities. During our professional routine, we provided assistance to people who were struggling with poverty and starvation. Therefore, it raised my awareness of social inequality and unfairness in our society. Furthermore, we focused on projects that reflected the process of shifts in the country’s infrastructure. For instance, we analyzed buildings and landmarks with antique and unique architecture. This enabled us to broaden our horizons regarding sustainable development and efficient implemented policies. What strikes me most about this experience was delivering public speeches. During meetings I was able to deliver my points regarding economical ramifications, infrastructure. As a result, it encouraged me to enhance my communication skills and be more determined about my future career. Consequently, I was over the moon to engage in these extracurricular activities as I was able to reshape my attitudes regarding my lifestyle. My performance and participation in these events encouraged me to raise my awareness of environmental issues, social inequality, and even unemployment, which has grown over the years. Currently, I prioritize such organizations as they encourage me to give a helping hand to our society. All in all, I was quite satisfied with this experience as it added color to my life.
