I’d like to talk about a long term goal of mine which is to become physically stronger and more confident in the future. To achieve this goal, I have developed the habit of working out regularly. Nowadays, I go to the gym around 3-4 times a week, and I mainly focus on exercises like push-ups, pull-ups and weight training to build muscle and improve my physique. Apart from exercising, I’ve also changed my diet quite a lot. I try to maintain a balanced intake of nutrients by tracking my calories and paying attention to things like protein, carbon hydrates and fat. Since I used to be extremely skinny, gaining muscle has always been one of my biggest goals. The reason this goal is so important to me is that I used to be very self-conscious about my appearance. Back then, I often lacked confidence and even avoided certain social situations because of how skinny I was. Over time, however, working hours has gradually improved not only my physical condition, but also my confidence and mentality. I hope I can continue this habit in the long run and eventually become a healthier and more confident version of myself.
