I’d like to talk about a friend of mine who often helps others. We’ve known each other for almost 9 years, so I know him very well. He helps people quite often, not only his friends, but also strangers. I still remember one rainy day, he went to stroll out the trash, but he didn’t come back for a long time. When I went to look for him, I saw that he was having an elderly lady clean up the recycling station in our community. He has also volunteered as a guide for people visiting China for the first time. The reason he does this is quite personal. He told me that when he faced difficulties in the past, he often felt helpless and wished someone could help him. Because of that experience, he now tries to help others whenever he can. I must say, I feel deeply moved and inspired by him. I truly admire his tenets, and it really makes me want to strive to be a better person, just like him.
