I'd like to talk about the lake in the center of Moscow. It is interesting that Moscow is home to a surprising amount of serene landscapes, but this lake is my personal favorite. When I go there, I sit down on the bench or on the grass and unwind by reading. I'm fascinated by reading books, especially calm novels and non-fiction about psychology and personal development. And I enjoy the warm sun on my face and light wind coming from the water. Another reason this place helps me relax is the sense of connection with nature. I often see squirrels and birds here around the trees and it makes me forget about the stress of everyday life. For a while I really value having time just for myself to think about my goals and reflect on my day. Overall this lake is special for me because it gives me a quiet space to recharge and clear my mind even though it's right in the heart of the city.
