The number of vehicles and motorcycles increased also, which resulted in an enormous volume of emissions in the air, thereby causing air pollution. I can learn this as one of the strongest reasons for causing air pollution after my travel. The polluted city I am going to talk about is Shiraz. It was about one year ago that my parents planned a travel to Shiraz to meet our extended family. We were excited to meet them as equally as exploring Shiraz. Arriving at the airport, we could feel the stark change in the air quality. The air was multi-way and the buildings were obscured with thick haze. Despite the poor air quality, I strived to make the most of my travel to Shiraz. So I visited Hafiz, which is one of the most visited places there and holds historical importance. But again, it was challenging as I could barely see the intricate details on the walls due to heavy smog. Even though I had masked throughout the time, it didn’t help. I could feel the pollution particles in my breathing. Overall, I was dissatisfied with my travel. But it made me appreciate the importance of environmental conservation and take a step to cut down on carbon footprint.
