I'd like to talk about a time I received a prize from my boss for my hard work. It happened in October 2021. I had just started a job at a high-tech company, and with the Spring Festival, one of the biggest holidays in China, only four months away, we were under a lot of pressure. Most companies aim to achieve certain goals before this holiday because employees get a long break. My manager promised the boss we would complete some coding tasks before the festival. It was stressful because there were so many tasks. We started working extra hours, often staying until midnight, and even working on weekends. Finally, we managed to finish all the tasks just a few weeks before the Spring Festival. Our boss was very pleased and impressed with our hard work. He decided to give each of us employees a bonus of 2000 RMB and treated us to a large meal at a local restaurant. I felt incredibly happy because all our hard work had paid off in the end.

And most companies will try to achieve something before this holiday because, um, their employees will have many days off. So my manager promised the boss that we would complete, uh, some coding tasks before this holiday. And we were very stressed because there are kind of too many tasks. So we, we start to walk extra hours even. We find ourselves working till midnight very often. And also we sometimes need to walk on the weekend. Finally, we managed to, um, finish the order tasks, um, before, just a few weeks before the spring festival. And our boss was very delighted and satisfied by our hard work. So he decided to give us each of the employees 2000 IMB as a bonus. And also he treated us a very big meal at the local restaurant. I feel very happy, um, because all of our hard rocking got paid off in the end.
