I'd like to talk about a time I worked very hard and received a bonus from my boss. It happened in 2022. In October, I got a programming job at a big company. Since it was only four months away from the Spring Festival the following year, many companies in China try to achieve milestones and finish assignments before the big holidays like the Spring Festival. Our manager promised our boss that we could finish some coding work before the Spring Festival. However, that was too much work, and we really had to stay up late and work overtime. We even had to work on weekends. So, two weeks before the Spring Festival, we finally made it. We finished every task, and our boss was excited. He was very delighted and decided to give each of us a bonus. It was almost 2000 yuan, and he also treated us to a big meal together to celebrate our completion. I felt very happy about this because our hard work finally paid off, and everyone received some bonuses.
