I’d like to talk about a time I worked very hard and I received the bonus for my boss. So it happened in 2022. In October I got a programming job in a big company. Because it was only four months away from Spring Festival next year, so in China many companies will try to achieve some milestones to finish some assignments before the big holidays such as the Spring Festival. Our manager promised our boss that we can finish some sort of coding work before the Spring Festival. However, that was too much work and we really had to stay up late and work overtime. We even had to work on weekends. So two weeks before the Spring Festival we finally made it. We finally finished every tasks and our boss was excited. He was very delighted and he decided to give each of us a bonus. It was almost 2000 yuan, and he also treated us a big meal together to celebrate our completion. I feel very happy about this because our hard work finally paid off and everyone got some bonuses.
