To be perfectly honest, a few months ago I received a scholarship award at University for academic excellence. The prize was a combination of monetary award and a certificate of recognition which was presented during a special ceremony in March. It was university event where students were acknowledged for their outstanding academic achievements. I ear the award by maintaining a high GPA and being actively involved in extrauricular activities. I had been working hard on balancing my studies with my involvement in student organization and it was a great feeling to see that effort being recognized because I was class representative as well as a m member of student club called Palm Tree Club. So I had lots of responsibilities on my shoulders. When I received prize, I felt a sense of accomplishment and pride. It was not just the, uh, money, but also recognition of my dedication and hard work. They were motivated me for continuing pushing myself and set even higher goals for future. It also boost my confidence to do better things.
