In Hindu culture usually lot of people have known about it and I have first tried it in my childhood onwards in festivals and other occasions mostly in winter season. Usually in temples and in home we prepare it and also it has lot of medical properties because the ingredients in it self are very good and boost our immunity. It has black pepper, ilachi, jaggery and also lots of water. After consuming this drink people who suffer for extreme coldness and also for cold cough, common spreadable this is spreadable bacteria. This may be this helps to reduce and also reduce heat in our body and in my area it is very famous because we have a big hill. All local people believe that the hill inside a lava represent and also the hill is attached with a temple called Panakala Swami. The name itself is called Panakala Swami. So that is why all devotees take this water and pour into the mouth of the God. So no one knows where the water goes but all believe that water goes into the hill and reduce the heat and lava that forming inside and that is why it is very popular in my area.
