Well, I am a physical therapist, uh, working in a uh, multi specialty hospital and my profession requires me to constantly upgrade my skills as well as display them in various themes and projects. So the recent project that I did was with an ngo or non governmental organization which was based in uh, Rajasthan, a state in India. In that project, um, we were uh, required to enhance, designed and implement physical therapeutic programs for persons with disabilities and special children. The program, um, was a challenge in itself because dealing with, uh, specially abled people requires great patience and uh, it requires great effort on the part of the whole team. However, the plan became a big success and so many people cooperated, um, in making it so, uh, even the locals, they showed their support, uh, to take the program to another level. We were successful in treating about 1000 persons with disabilities and designing home based physiotherapy programs for them. So it was a major accomplishment for our hospital as well as a uh, personal achievement for everyone working on that project. That was uh, a really fulfilling time for all of us. And I gained so many skills from being a part of that team and actively working uh, on that project. Apart from that, uh, I gained valuable insights into my own abilities, um, and how to tackle various problems and tackle different challenges. And it all, um, you know, invokved empathy as well as, uh, greater potential in me. So I’ve been more passionate towards my work and this has obviously taken my work to a higher level.
