In the central part of the town, there is a big garden called Company Bag and the word Bag in Company Bag is a Hindi word which translates to a large garden in English. It is very massive and includes almost 50 other parks in it. There are all the facilities present which one can think of. There is a skating ring where individuals from all over the city come to practice and learn skating. There are also various fountains all over the garden. This beautiful garden was built over 100 years ago and since then many developments have occurred and it has been expanded. There is also a museum of the great Indian ruler Maharaja Ranjeet Singh who ruled over the Punjab in ancient times. It is home to many different kinds of trees and birds. There are various shops inside the garden where people can buy and enjoy food while looking at the great view of nature. There are benches and exercise machines placed at frequent intervals in the garden. I usually visit it every Sunday in the morning as me and my parents go for a walk. This park is full of people in the morning and evening as in the mornings it is a favourite spot for many to walk and in the evenings along with walking people play various games like badminton, cricket etc. There is also huge parking space for vehicles present at the beginning of the garden.
