So, I’d like to talk about removal at my school that I think is quite unnecessary. The rule is that students are not allowed to use their mobile phones during breaks. I think this rule was introduced because the school wants students to focus on their studies and communicate with each other face to face instead of spending all their time on social media. However, I feel that it affects students in a negative way. For example, sometimes I need to contact my parents, but I have to wait until the end of the school day. Many students also find the breaks less enjoyable because they can’t check messages, notifications, or listen to music. If I could change this rule, I would allow students to use their phones during lunch breaks or in designated areas. I think this would be a fair balance between maintaining discipline and giving students more freedom because school is not a prison. Although the rule has good intention, I believe it’s stricter than unnecessary.
