Rules and laws are made to create a peaceful and harmonious society. If we all obey these rules, then we would all be benefited. There are rules everywhere. Um, I think school is the first place where children learn about these rules and laws and proper conduct. Every school has rules like, uh, wearing the prescribed uniform, coming in on time, doing homework regularly and so on. My school also had rules. We had two uniforms. It was blue skirts and a navy blue shirt. Uh, on Wednesday and Thursday, we wore the uniform. However, on Friday and Saturday, uh, we had to wear a totally white shirt. All students. And I agree with these rules. Uh, everybody feels connected, um, because of this, uh, uniform. Uh, um, the uniform creates an atmosphere of discipline. Uh, if any students broke these rules, uh, they couldn't come in their own clothes, uh, they were punished. Our principal, uh, used to make us students stand outside on one leg for half an hour. Um, sometimes there was a fine of 100 taka. Also, uh, even if a tie, belt or badge was missing, uh, we had to pay the fine. So this was a rule in school. We had to follow all of these rules.
