I attended Minchan University in Taiwan to pursue my bachelor's degree in international business and trade, starting around 2017. The university is a three-story building with a large courtyard for sports like basketball and tennis. There's also an auditorium for special events like graduation ceremonies. The student body is diverse, with a mix of overseas and local Taiwanese students. The university is conveniently located near a famous market called "Shilin Night Market." It's easily accessible for students, as they can simply take the MRT to get there. For me, initially, the commute was a bit challenging. I had to walk back and forth from my dorm to the university for about 25 minutes every day. While this might not seem like a long distance for many students, it was a significant change for me, coming from Vietnam where we primarily use bicycles, motorbikes, or cars for transportation. When I first arrived in Taiwan and registered for the university, the walking commute was a new experience. It took some time to adjust to this lifestyle. However, after two years, I grew to love the university and its location. It has a large library where students can explore new knowledge and resources for their research.
