I have a very helpful nature, instilled in me from childhood by my parents who taught me to help people around us without any discrimination. Today, I would like to talk about a time when I helped my younger cousin sister. Last year, she came to India from the USA for the first time to attend the wedding of a close relative. It was my responsibility to look after her and explain the culture and traditions of the Hindu religion. At the wedding, I explained the customs and rituals the bridegroom performs. I also encouraged her to try the wide variety of Indian cuisine, especially with her hands, which would be a delightful experience for her. Furthermore, I explained the tradition of touching the feet of older people and relatives when meeting them for the first time to receive their blessings. Reflecting on this experience, I felt a sense of pride in passing on my culture to my younger sister and had a tremendous experience. Since then, the bond between my younger sister and me has grown stronger. Even now, we call each other and talk about our daily lives.
