I didn’t know what to do. In my head there were many options. The first one would be that when someone asks is there a medic on the plane, I will say no because I’m just a student. I’m just starting to learn to finish my first year. But the downside of this could be that the person would die. My second option at the time was I just go in, I help the person, maybe they recover but the consequences could be dire. What if I fail? What if I screw something up and they die? And third but not last, an option was also to just leave the situation alone and maybe wait for someone. But if no one there was a medic, that person could just leave this world and I couldn’t bring myself to not help so I just got up from my seat, sprinting towards him and I resuscitated him and I succeeded. Everyone started cheering and it just made me realize that you just have to be a good person. Nobody cares about your qualifications when someone is in desperate need of first aid immediately.
