From my perspective, one of the most difficult skills to learn is actually learning a new language. I think this skill might be hard because you are learning from scratch something you normally have since you were a kid. Using the new tenses you have to learn the adverbs in articles to create a coherent sentence might be harder than we actually think. Usually people can take classes or resolve thoughts to reach a certain level of a language. For example, lately I’ve been trying to learn Italian. I chose this language because it’s very close to Spanish. It comes from the same root in etymology, which is Latin. So we have a lot of similarities in our language. And still, it’s a little bit hard because we have something that is called a false friend, which are words that we think that have a meaning and actually have a total different meaning or they are not related at all. The interesting part about our language is not also their etymology, but how different they are between one and the other. No matter how close or how different they are, the way we read them, the intonation, the pronunciations, the writing, they come from different contexts and they develop differently through the years. A language is very valuable to learn and having to learn new languages is something most people have to develop because we are currently living in a globalized world where everything is closed, but at the same time everyone is closer. So learning a new language will help you connect better with people from different nationalities and learn more about yourself and others culture.
