I decided to describe a special event that is organized in my little town, which is typical of my country, especially in the northern part of Italy, and it's called... I don't think there is any translation in English. What's it about? Basically, people, usually teenagers aged 18 and above, gather together and go to the homes of the people asking for donations, literally asking for money. This is because in the summer we plan to organize events like Cucania, as I mentioned. The event is basically a big tall pole that we have to climb. The pole is covered in grease, which adds to the difficulty, and we try to climb it. At the top of the pole, there are a lot of toys that we then give to the children of the families for free, thanks to the donations we received from them. After that, we have a party where they can have hamburgers and drinks for free. It's a very nice organization, but it's also a tradition because it started years ago with our parents and grandparents. So, it's a very nice event organized in our town.
