I’m going to talk about Mita Eme, who was one of the greatest teachers. He was my English teacher in secondary school. First, I was really impressed by his unique way of teaching English. He didn’t first learn to memorize long lists of new vocabulary and difficult, grammatical poems. Instead, he told the stories and attached it to an image. So we could remember this word more easily. Secondly, he was able to explain something complicated in a much simpler, simple, simpler-life way. I remember that lots of my friends in other classes failed to memorize the usage of 12 basic tenses in English. But in my class, it was not really difficult to do that because Mita Eme explained it very clearly in a simplest way. Third, he was in Paris who gave the motivation to learn English, to try harder and to not give up by telling us motivational stories of famous people who have failed thousands of times before achieving their goals. I still remember one of inspirational quotes. If you don’t believe in yourself, how can you expect others to believe in you? I haven’t met him since I finished secondary school. I really hope to see him again one day. So if I had to talk about my favorite teacher, it would be Mita Eme.
