When it comes to the idea of a time when I decided to lie to protect someone else, let me share with you about a time when I had to lie to protect my friend from her parents. My friend was struggling with her studies and her grades. Unfortunately, her last exam score was not her best performance, so she was really worried about her parents' reactions. The situation started when we were supposed to meet up for a study session, but she wasn't able to show up, and her parents were looking for her. They asked me, but I decided to say she was at my place studying. It was a big risk, but I knew she needed some space to sort things out. After lying, I felt good, and I think it was the right choice at that moment to protect my friend.

So my friend, she was struggling with her studying and her grade. Unfortunately, her last exam score was not like have the best performance as her usually did, so she was really worried about her parent reactions. So the situation started when we were able to meet up for a study session, but she wasn’t able to show up and her parents were looking for her.
