I would like to describe a time when I had to lie to my sibling. One time, I had to lie to my younger brother about a surprise birthday gift. He kept asking me directly, but if I had told the truth, the surprise would have been ruined. I think lying was necessary because it made the gift more special. If I had told the truth, he would have been disappointed, and the surprise elements would have been lost. I believe it's sometimes acceptable to lie for someone's happiness, but lying for personal benefit is not right.
