A few months ago, I was assigned to a group project. We needed to discuss which topic to choose, and one of my classmates suggested an easy topic. He argued that it would save us time on research and make writing the report easier. However, I disagreed. I felt strongly that choosing a more challenging topic could lead to a higher grade, as teachers often reward groups that tackle more complex subjects. We had a lively discussion, and I expressed my opinion passionately. Ultimately, most of my groupmates agreed with me, and we chose the more difficult topic. Initially, I was quite frustrated because I felt my classmate wasn't willing to put in the effort for a good grade. But after reflecting on it, I understood his perspective. We did have limited time, and his suggestion was based on practicality. I realized I should have expressed my disagreement more calmly and respectfully, as he was a classmate, not an enemy.
