Once I was coming back from the office to my home, and at that time on the road, I saw a foreigner having an argument with a CNG driver. They were arguing about what the fare should be. The CNG driver was actually claiming more than he should have. As a local, I knew what the actual fare is. So I went there, asked them to stop arguing, and said that the actual fare is 500. Are you asking for 1000? I helped the foreigner have a better bargaining point, and in the end, the CNG driver was happy with 600 taka. So I saved 400 taka for that foreigner. This was the interaction I had with the stranger that I once made.
