I remember a time when I helped a close relative of mine even though he is not very close to me by blood but we had very strong bonding and by the time he asked me for help I had known him for years. He was having pretty inconvenient times because he couldn’t accumulate the required amount to travel overseas as he was struggling financially. I was one of those people who had encouraged him to look for opportunities to go abroad and earn substantial amount that would facilitate his child’s education, that would cover his daily expenses and that would help him to lead a better lifestyle. At that time I felt this obligation that I needed to help him and I had some amount of money that I had been saving to buy a bike and I had to give it to him. I’ve always wanted nothing but good for that guy and I felt like it was an opportunity to help someone and I’ve never shied away from helping someone if I had the opportunity and the right circumstances. He was grateful and he is still grateful for that and he is living abroad now whenever we talk. He always brings that up and yes that’s the time that I helped someone.
