Helping others is the fundamental quality that demonstrates empathy and kindness. Today I am going to talk about the time when I helped a young girl who is an advanced level student and was preparing for an examination but did not have enough money to hire an instructor. The person I know who is our house helper has a 16-year-old daughter, Sanduni. Sanduni's mother has been with us for 10 years. One day, Sanduni's mother came to me and told me about their family situation and difficulties. She said this year is the most crucial year for Sanduni's studies. She asked if I had spare time to help her with studying. I was over the moon because it was a great opportunity for me to share my knowledge. The next day, Sanduni came to me with her book, and I prepared a study plan for her. Every day, I spent 2 hours on Sanduni's studies. Sanduni was a brilliant student with a sharp mind, and I suggested she follow some YouTube channels and techniques to improve her knowledge. In addition, I supported her in every possible way I knew. In other words, it was a brilliant chance for me to enhance my knowledge. Sanduni burned the midnight oil and prepared for her examinations. After that, she passed the examinations with flying colors. Sanduni and I are proud of ourselves because it was a great opportunity for me. I felt a sense of satisfaction helping Sanduni improve her knowledge.
