During my high school years I had an opportunity to meet a person who’become. A dear friend of mine. Her name is Sara and I met huh her when I was in grade nine. It happened during first week of school. I was sitting alone in school canteen. Feel quite nervous because I didn’know. Anyone. As um. I was waiting for my lunch. She will get over and asked if she could share the table since it was crowded. We started chatting casually and uh. I quickly realized that we had a lot of things in common. We were both measuring in biology which gave us a plenty of topics to talk about. From favourite scientists to interesting scientific development and articles we had read recently. What really stood out to me was how friendly and open she was. We spent hours talking that afternoon and by the end of the day we had exchanged our phone numbers and agreed to meet up again. Over the next few weeks we became a study partners and soon after that a close friends. I think that whats made our friendship so strong was how well we understood each other and shared similar interests. Looking back, I’really grateful for that moment in the schoolteen because it lead to a uh. Friendship that has lasted for years. Even though we are in senior year and planning to apply to different countries, we are planning to stay in touch regularly and meet up whenever we can.
