Well, I have experienced such situations several times throughout my life. However, one of the most meaningful experiences happened approximately six months ago. In fact, at that time, I was willing to apply for a prestigious position in an international company. However, it was quite challenging as a required experience in volunteering work. I took the situation into account and participated in countless extracurricular activities. At that time, I attended an interview for volunteering work, which was quite demanding. During this event, the instructor asked basic questions about my priorities, accomplishments. For instance, they prioritized evaluating not only my performance, including communication and leadership skills, but also my appearance and overall personality. However, I was struggling with a lack of self-esteem, so I wasn’t able to adjust my behavior. As a result, I was quite doubtful about my performance and even anticipated refusal. Then we were informed that our feedback will be announced in two weeks. During that period of time, I wasn’t able to lead a well-balanced lifestyle. For instance, I experienced frequent insomnia, burnout and concerns about my future lifestyle. Furthermore, I was confident that my performance was unsatisfying due to a lack of open-mindedness. As a result, I wasn’t able to ensure my concentration throughout my professional routine. Ultimately, I received a phone call from the company informing me that my application had been accepted. To be honest, I was overjoyed and unable to believe the situation. My family members took pride in my accomplishments and congratulated me. All in all, this experience encouraged me to become a well-tempered and resilient individual.
