When the topic of doing something guilty comes up, my family immediately comes to mind. It brings me back to an incident that happened when I was in secondary school. I remember clearly starting a new semester at school and being moved to a different class. I had a crush on a girl in my new class because of her beauty and personality. I thought about her all day and started neglecting my studies. As a result, I didn't do well in class. I passed the last exam with flying colors, but that was due to luck. Being distracted from studying and not focusing on preparing for the final test, I decided to use my mobile phone to cheat while taking the test. That was the most regrettable decision I've ever made. I got caught by the examiner and reported to my parents. At that time, I felt scared and guilty towards my parents because they were so proud of me for being a good student. I had disappointed them. After talking with the teacher, my mom and dad looked at me without saying a word. The feeling of disappointment was overwhelming, even more than the fear. The only thing that stuck in my mind after that was that I had to improve myself, pay attention to my studies again, and make my parents proud of me once more.
