When the topic of a time when I did something wrong to a member of my family comes up, it brings me back to an incident that happened when I was in secondary school. I remember it clearly. I started a new semester at school and was moved to another class. I had a crush on a girl in the new class because of her beauty and personality. I thought about her all day and started to neglect my studies. I didn't do well in class, even though I had passed the previous course with flying colors. Being distracted from studying and not focusing on preparing for the final test, I decided to use my mobile phone to cheat while taking the test. This was the most regretful decision I've ever made. I was caught by the exam invigilator and reported to my parents. At that time, I felt scared and guilty towards my parents because they were proud of me for being a good student, but I had disappointed them. After talking with the teacher, my mom and dad looked at me without saying any words. Personally, the feeling of disappointment was overwhelming, even more than the fear. The only thing that stuck in my mind after that was that I had to improve myself by paying attention to my studies again to make my parents proud of me once more.
