I’m going to describe about the situation which I had to make a very quick decision without much information. It was in the year 2020 when I was working in a maternity department as a ward nurse and I happened to receive a patient who was due for, who was in labor and in the process of monitoring her. When I did her examination on the virginal examination I realized that she had a cold presentation and by mistake I ruptured the membranes which was a very risky activity to do and in that case I just maintained my fingers inside then I made a I called my team members to inform the medical officer of the situation so that the patient can be rushed in for cesarean section in order to save the life of the child. So during that moment I instructed the nursing team who are with me and the student’s nurses to take action. Some were fixing IV lines, some were fixing, making sure that the fluid is run and within After 20 minutes we had already wheeled the patient to the theater. I really feel that the patient I did my best because whenever we experienced such a situation and the state of the fitters may not be that good. But during that moment I was able to make that quick decision and the client was attended to as soon as possible. and the outcome of the baby was also good. She had the baby had a good school and and During that decision I was able to explain to the client what really happened and the client was able to appreciate the situation and At the end of the day the mother and the baby were happy and stable
