Today I would like to talk about a time when I had to make a difficult decision. I remember after my 10th examination, it was time to select my subjects for higher studies. All of my friends were taking non-medical. At that time, I felt so stumped because I had to choose one stream that would be beneficial for my future. There were four streams: medical, non-medical, arts, and commerce, and I felt so confused. My friends persuaded me to take up the non-medical field, but I remembered that math was not my strong subject. I also told my parents about it, but they stuck to their guns and told me that it totally depended on me because my future would be influenced by this subject. Then I remember I called Mrs. Tromilla, who is one of my English teachers, and she knew me very well. Moreover, at that time, I asked her which stream I should take for the future, and she suggested I choose medical because she knew I had gained interest in biology and wanted to learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. I think I hit the nail on the head because otherwise, I would miss the boat in the future. Now I can enjoy other pursuits too along with my studies, and I think it would be a great opportunity for my future because I know I can perform better in this field, and it helped me to stand on my own two feet. That would be great for my upcoming future.
