So a year ago, when I was traveling to Japan, my family and I decided to go on a trip to Mount Fuji. After waiting for a few hours, we finally arrived at our destination. It was a breathtaking view, and I remember how beautiful the scenery was. My lasting memory of that experience is how cold it was, especially coming from a tropical country like Indonesia. I wasn't wearing any warm clothing, such as gloves, to protect myself from the cold weather there. After talking with a few other foreigners besides my friend, I saw this lady who was cleaning the restroom. I often say that helping others is important, but this was one of the most memorable experiences for me. Seeing older people makes you feel emotional because I believe that at their age, they should be enjoying retirement, with their children providing for them or having enough savings. I wouldn't say giving her chocolate helped her significantly, but once I finished washing my hands, I encountered her. At first, I walked away, but then I decided to run back to the restroom and give her a chocolate. I could never forget her, and I hope she's doing well.
