Maki, it is my job to help my students learn new things. I'm a teacher, and I work with teenagers. Today is the start of a new school year, and I feel excited but a bit worried because I have lots of plans. I have to meet new pupils. There will be a short period of storming when we get acquainted with each other and get used to each other. This period is amazing, but at the same time, it's a bit difficult because every time we face something new, our brain regards it as something strange, and sometimes even dangerous. However, I know some techniques and methods to establish good rapport. It's the very beginning, and I know how to get acquainted easier and how to transform the stage of storming into the stage of norming in the class and with new people. We also have to face the school year program, which is divided into parts. So, I'm talking about the plans, but it could also be about the past because every year I use this same approach.
