I would like to talk about a time when I helped someone in a way that was unexpected. Last year, I visited one of my close friends. She was home alone because her parents had gone to a family function. She wanted to prepare lunch for me as a surprise. However, she was not very good at cooking. She watched a few cooking videos on YouTube and started making chicken curry because it was my favorite. While she was cooking, she accidentally cut her hand with a knife. She was shocked and didn't know what to do. I quickly gave her first aid by cleaning the wound, stopping the bleeding, and putting a bandage on her hand. Then I finished cooking the meal for both of us. She was very thankful because she had not expected me to help her in that situation. After we finished cooking, we had lunch together and spent the rest of the day talking and laughing. I felt really happy and satisfied after helping her. It made me realize that even a small act of kindness can make a big difference. It also strengthened our friendship, and I will always remember that day.
