I would like to describe a time when I solved a problem in a creative way during my undergraduate research. The problem was that I needed to estimate more carbon stock in the Scottskoll area, but filled data were fairly limited due to time and budget constraints. Collecting biomass data through extensive fuel survey was not feasible. To solve this problem, I combined limited field measurements with satellite-based remote sensing data. I used a set of imagery and calculated vegetation index such as ND-Vine and MI using Google Earth Engine. Then I developed simple regression models to estimate biomass and carbon stock across the entire studio area. As a result, I was able to produce a comprehensive carbon stop map with reasonable accuracy, and the results were accepted as part of my research findings. My supervisor appreciated this approach because it allowed research to continue despite limited resources. I consider this solution creative because instead of relying solely on traditional field methods, I need to credit technology, special analysis and information science to overcome practical limitations. This approach not only solves the problem but also improves the efficiency and scalability of the research.

Yes. I’ve been months ago, I’ve had a problem at work. Our team had prepared a presentation for an important client, but we were short-time and some of our data was missing. Normally we would have postponed the preposition, but I wanted to find a different approach. So I came up with creative solution instead […]

You are considering the following ways of collecting information for the project: research in the library and online, and a trip to a wildlife park. Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each option. Say which option you would prefer, and why.
We have two ways to collect information for our wildlife project. Researching in the library and online is cheap and convenient.
