What comes to my mind recently is when I invited one of my new colleagues to take a relook at one of the items. I remember he was afraid, and I suggested that we could really examine this item. I assured him by showing him an example from a past project I had led, demonstrating how it succeeded. I told him I had all the strategies and techniques to make it work. After successfully persuading him, I felt a sense of accomplishment and relief that he was willing to give it a chance.
