This happened when I was in school. I taught my sister how to cook. I taught her because at that moment, my mother was working very hard and supporting the household chores. My sister was very little because she was in childhood. I could talk to her about how to cook, but she couldn't manage the other things I thought she should know at her young age. I had to make it very simple and make her aware of the process. It was a very hard time for all of us.
