When I used to go to school, I wore an ugly uniform. It consisted of two pieces: a jacket and a pair of pants. They were both green and had no ornaments or decorations whatsoever, which made them very unattractive to me. As a child, I loved wearing bright and colorful clothes. I also liked to wear something with a pattern, but that wasn't the case with this uniform. Everyone was obligated to wear it, and there were punishments if we didn't. This is why I felt like I was a slave to the system or that I was in a military institution. We felt very sad when we looked at each other in this piece of clothing. Our parents were the ones who paid for it. The school wasn't obligated to buy it for us, nor was the government, even though they were the ones who forced us to wear it in the first place. We had to wear it almost every school day from 9 AM to 3 PM, which were school hours. It also had a belt at the waist, which made it extremely uncomfortable because we had to tighten this belt. We were obligated to do this, which increased our level of discomfort.

I also like to wear something that has a pattern on and that wasn’t the case when I wore this uniform. Me and everyone was obligated to wear and there were punishments if we didn’t wear it. So this is why I felt like I was a slave to the system or that I was in a military institution. We used to feel very sad when we look at each other wearing this piece of clothing and the parents actually our parents are the ones who paid for it. The school wasn’t obligated to buy it for us nor the government even though they are the ones who forced us to wear it at the first place. And we had to wear it almost every day, every school day from 9am to 3pm which were school hours. It also had a belt on the waist which made it extremely uncomfortable to wear because we had to use and band this waist. We were obligated to do this which increased our level of uncomfortability.
