One useful skill I learned from an adult is playing musical instruments, especially the guita and traditional instrument, the dombra. I learned this skill from my uncle who is an experienced musician. I started learning these instruments a few years ago when I became interested in music. My uncle patiently taught me the basics such as how to hold the instruments properly, play simple melodies. Learning the dombra was especially meaningful because it’s an important part of my culture. At first it was quite difficult to coordinate my fingers and keep up with the rhythm, but with practice and guidance from my uncle I improved a lot. Now I know a lot of quies like Adai and Kunon Tokuna. Overall learning the guita and dombra from my uncle has been a valuable experience. It hasn’t only improved my musical skills but also connected me to my culture. Additionally performing in the Liseum dombra competition was a proud achievement and I’m grateful for my uncle.
