Well, ID’d say one of the biggest social problems in my country right now is how much young people are using smartphones. It seems like many of them are spending way too much time on their phones and honestly I think it’s becoming a serious issue. They’ve kind of become addicted to them. I think this problem exists because of the way our modern lifestyle works. Technology is everywhere and kids are introduced to smartphone from a young age, mostly for entertainment. So by the time they grow off, they are already used to spending hours on their phones. Plus there are so many things to do on um, social media, games, videos. It’hard for young people to resist. As for the consequences, I believe it’affecting them in a lot of negative ways. Physically it’bad for their eyes and posture, and mentally it can lead to things like anxiety or even depression. Many students also struggle with focusing on their studies, which hurts their academic performance. On top of that, spending too much time on smartphones makes them more isolated from their family and friends, so they are not developing their social skills. They need to solve this. I think it’s really important to make people aware of how harmful excessive smartphone use can be. Schools and parents could encourage young people to spend more time on other activities like sports or hobbies. And I believe the government could also introduce policies to promote a healthier balance by supporting activities that dont involve screens. In the end, its all about helping people see the negative effects and giving them better alternatives.
