It happened three years ago when I started working at my first job. I was completely overwhelmed by all the changes that were happening in my life. The day I'm talking about started badly. My alarm didn't go off. I was late, and when I got to the bus stop, the bus just drove away. There was no one there except for an elderly man and me. He was holding origami, and I was amazed by the variety of colors and shapes. He spoke to me first. He told me that everything would be fine. I was a bit skeptical. Then he told me his life story. To be honest, there was nothing special about it—just an average life of a normal person with all its ups and downs. It made me rethink the way I perceive my life. To be more at ease and not take things personally, you can control what happens to you, but you can control your emotions.
