As a bibliophile, I read a lot of books, novels, and stories, I would say. But here I would like to talk about an interesting story that feels like a part of my life. It's a Punjabi folk tale about Toti Durandja and Heed, who are the kind of lovebirds in their own time. They both come from different families, and their families didn't approve of them. But they still loved each other and met quietly. It's a story about secret meetings, secret love, secret separation, heartbreak, and a secret ending, I would say. In this story, they love each other and are eager to marry each other. The flame of their love is such that it didn't stop; it didn't die out. In the 18th century, Varsha told this story, and it is basically for the lovebirds. On the day of their wedding, Rihira and Raja would meet quietly, but their families forced them apart. They were forced to separate, and on the day of Heed's wedding, their love story took a tragic turn.
