Okay, one online video where I learned something new was a podcast I watched on YouTube during my summer vacation. The podcast is called 'Is for Success' and it's specifically designed to help people prepare for the IELTS exam, which I found incredibly beneficial because I am preparing for it myself. I decided to watch it because it's highly practical and offers so many useful tips. The podcast covers the essential aspects of the IELTS speaking test, like fabulous vocabulary, idioms, and even how to incorporate slang naturally, which can really help boost your band score. I love this podcast, not only because it enhances my range of vocabulary and collocations, but also because it is really engaging. The hosts have a wonderful sense of humor and an interactive style, so I've never felt bored even when they were going over more complex grammar points. For this video, I learned how to tackle the speaking section of the exam. It gave me strategies for structuring my answers, how to link my ideas fluently, and I picked up some amazing collocations and vocabulary that can definitely impress the examiner. Overall, it was a fascinating resource and I believe it will really help me achieve a higher band score in the speaking test.
