Well, I was born and brought up in a beautiful town called Kathmandu, capital of Nepal. It is a lively city where both history and modern life coexist. It is nestled in the valley surrounded by lush green hills. It is also renowned for its ancient temples, stunning architectures and UNESCO World Heritage sites like Sambinat and Kathmandu Valley. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most populated and polluted cities in Nepal. As now it has become a residential zone and the cafes have sprung up, leaving little to no space for children to play as we did back then. And the government has also been taking legal actions by initiating campaigns and lowering the electric vehicle prices for the people to purchase them, which is also a positive step towards reducing carbon emissions. Despite the traffic conditions and pollution, Kathmandu remains the heart of the cities, politics, economies and culture.
