One thing I own that I want to replace is the mirror in my room. It's a simple rectangular mirror that I've had for several years. It was bought by my dad when he was renovating our rooms when I was eight, so I only got to choose a few items for my room. I remember that I used to measure my height or sing my favorite song in front of that mirror when I was a kid, and as it carries many memories from my childhood, I didn't want to throw it away. But now I want to replace it for a few reasons. First, the mirror has gotten a few scratches and spots over time, which distort the reflection and make it less useful. Its frame is outdated and it doesn't match the current decoration of my room, which I recently updated. So I want something that looks more modern and completes the overall aesthetic of the space. Back then, my room was mostly decorated with purple and pink colors, so the frame of my mirror was purple. But I redecorated it two years ago, and now that my items are all green and white, it doesn't match the overall vibe. To replace the mirror, I need to do a bit of planning. First, I need to measure the space where the new mirror will go to make sure it fits properly. Next, I will need to decide on the style and frame that matches my room's decor. I actually want to choose something made from wood. And finally, I'll need to save my money for the purchase as mirrors can range in price depending on their size and design. Once I've found the perfect mirror and have the money, I think I'll be ready to make the replacement.
