Being an avid reader person, it’s my hobby to write down unique vocabulary words in my diary and use it in my daily routine sentences. Here I would like to share some light on the things which I did and made me feel confident and proud. I really reminds when I was in my high school, I was not too much gregarious. I used to sit quiet and read books in my leisure time. No doubt I was the brilliant student of my class but my confidence level was not up to the mark and I used to feel nervous and when I turned to speak in front of other teams of people. My mentors were quite familiar with my nature. I remember once in a declamation competition held in my school. At that time I was in 10th class and it was my last year of my school. My teacher wanted to boost my confidence level so that I can accomplish the thing which ever I wanted to achieve in my life. She wrote my name as a competitor in the competition and encouraged me to show my writing skills and my knowledge in front of others. Her words acted as a miracle for me and I prepared a frontabular speech by burning the midnight oil on the women’s education for the competition. No doubt I had a butterfly in my stomach but still I put my best foot forward to convey my meanings to the audience. I tried my best to use some unique vocabulary words in my speech so that I make my speech more innovative or attractive. Honestly speaking I was surprised when I received a big round of applause with standing ovations. This thing boosted my confidence that no one could beat. I filled with energy and my eyes were shining with full of tears. It was a truly red later day for me which gave me a new identity as an extrovert person and I was really thankful to my teacher who encouraged me to overcome my fear.
