I am not an exceptional case. Today, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about the occasion when I was not allowed to use my cell phone. I vividly remember five years ago when I went for one of the competitive exams in Chandigarh. Before reaching the location, I was late as I got stuck in traffic. So as soon as I reached the examination location, I directly went to the examination hall without reading any instructions. Two minutes later, one of the invigilator stepped into the examination hall and confirmed if anyone is carrying the mobile phone. Without thinking twice, I accepted that I have my phone with me. To my surprise, she became very angry on me as it was clearly mentioned on the instructions sheets that mobile phones are not allowed in the examination hall. Feeling embarrassed, I handed over my phone to the teacher. While I was even not able to concentrate on my exam as I was thinking about my parents and even I was not able to inform that I have already reach the examination location as soon as my exam finished. So, in which later returned my phone. When I saw my phone there were multiple miscalls from my parents. I directly called them and explained the scenario. They completely understood me. That day I realized that how important part the mobile phones are playing in our life and even it’s hard to imagine 3 to 4 hours without mobile phones. This was the occasion when I was not allowed to use phone.
