And there is a belief that banjun symbolized the earth and um, people always e to wish for the better harvest in the new year coming. And before Ted, many families in Vietnam make myun together with their neighbourss or friends. But actually I don’t have many experiences in making benchun. Like I just watched my parents make it but I still remember how to make it. Basically first of all we need to prepare enough ingredients that are uh, needed for making b chun and then we have to wash the banana leaves. Uh, and after that we start to pour sticky rice, pork, beans and spice spices as ah, salt, pepper respectively. And on the top layer people will pour some um, sticky rice before starting to rab it to complete making manchun. And in the final stage, all of the banching meat were put on the big pot and boileht um, 12 hours and I think this is the happiest time to me uh, as I can play with my friends while waiting Bch cook cooked. Moreover, the taste of it is really delicious and I usually eat it with sugar to make it much uh, Yumier and addition it to that.
